Based at Office 9051, 321-323 High Road, Chadwell Heath, Essex, RM6 6AX, UK, we provide family-style residential homes that offer stability, consistency, and unconditional support to the young people in our care.

The ethos of Comfort Ark Haven is rooted in our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive home for children and young people who have experienced adversity or disruption in their early lives. We recognise that many of the young people placed with us may have faced difficult or traumatic experiences, and our aim is to provide an environment that promotes healing, stability, and positive development.
Comfort Ark Haven is dedicated to supporting each child's aspirations and helping them work toward a brighter and more fulfilling future. We offer care to children aged 10–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ensuring that our approach is both personalised and responsive to their individual needs.
The home's care practice is underpinned by the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy). This model informs how we build relationships, respond to behaviours, and create a sense of emotional safety. By using PACE consistently, we support the development of secure attachments and help young people feel understood, valued, and respected. All staff are trained in this approach and selected for their ability to deliver care with warmth, patience, and empathy.
We strive to ensure that Comfort Ark Haven feels genuinely like a home. Staff provide high standards of primary care, ensuring that each young person feels safe, cared for, and emotionally contained. Clear routines and boundaries are maintained to provide structure and predictability, while also ensuring that young people have meaningful opportunities for play, recreation, and creativity—recognising the importance of these activities for emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
Each young person is supported to choose their own key worker upon admission, enabling relationships to form naturally and respectfully. This key relationship forms the foundation for trust, emotional support, and consistent guidance.
Above all, the ethos of Comfort Ark Haven is centred on creating a place of security, warmth, and encouragement. Through consistent support and a therapeutic, relationship-based approach, we aim to help young people develop emotional resilience, improve self-regulation, and build the confidence needed to move forward positively in their lives.
